The Surprise Acoustic Show You Missed
Last night robert, mariqueen and i played an unannounced show at Rene’s in Santa Monica. It was real low key and under the radar…i mean, we didnt invite a soul so dont feel too bad that you missed a big show. anyway, the reason we played was because we wanted to test out some semi acoustic versions of our songs. we played 3 songs: Miles from Monterey, Hollywood, and What Are You Afraid Of. for these versions rob played acoustic guitar, mariqueen played a moog and i played bass and a little egg shaker. it was pretty cool but kind of strange for the first time (first times are always kinda awkward though huh?). overall it was a good time but very quick (again, kind of like my first time). At the end of the day we got some free food and a few beers and played to a bunch of people who really weren’t paying that much attention to us.

Hey,
You guys should definitely try to get some gigs in the Midwest.
As soon as I heard you guys on One Tree Hill I went out and bought the CD. The entire disc is absolutely amazing. I would love to see a show, but I live in Michigan
Peace,
Ana
Aw, she’s so pretty =)
You guys need to video record a show for the people who can’t see you live, because you really are a GREAT live band.
Just a thought…

grace – you just summed it all up, thank you very much – believe me, unless you become super duper uber famous there’s no reason not to connect with your fans and be really cool about it. too bad you weren’t at the video shoot it was fun – gonna post something about it later.

Renee’s was the home to Virgin and WB Record’s Geggy-Tah for several New Year’s wingdings. In fact, my band’s first gig out was at Renee’s with Geggy-Tah, and soon we were played on commercial radio in LA, and soon those stations went out of business. We were like the “Ring” but in the form of a band: play us on your station and be doomed.
good one josh – i like that ring thing – what’s your email – are you on our list?
