2 with ten – the letter c

cbdok this is getting better by the week. the letter C – fucking hell, tough call on c cos my immediate reaction was to play a track on side 2 of combat rock by the clash or my fav cure song of off kiss me kiss me kiss me but those groups are way too obvious…who doesnt have those records. here is c…cool and credible

Cruel Black Dove. cbd is a four piece from brooklyn. i discovered these guys pretty randomly and really love their debut ep full powers (2008). it’s dark electronic rock – i couldnt help but be reminded of pj harvey circa bring u my love when i saw their video but thats a good thing. their video is rad. as a result of my my la to brooklyn outreach program i have since become friends with cbd. anastasia is a sweetheart and alan did a remix for us that appears on our double remix cd as well as our latest digital release on origami recs. in a perfect world i would take these guys on tour with one of my bands…they would probably fit better with iwnbts. then again, a triple header with all 3 would be awesome – fingers crossed on that one.

cryoncueCry On Cue. this is the first reggae band to make the list and it might be the only one to make the list. i spent many an hour listening to cry on cue’s truth to rhyme (release 2004) when it was my turn to drive the van on tour. cry on cue is a one man operation led by the incredible
bernie larsen. bernie’s resume is beyond impressive…he was part of el rayo-x, has played guitar for melissa etheridge, jackson browne, lucinda willians, rickie lee jones, etc etc – he even played guitar on public enemy’s last record. larsen has worked with all the legendary reggae guys and if im not mistaken had a few of peter tosh’s band memebers in cry on cue. in my opinion bernie is a guitar legend who has never gotten his real due. last year however, there was a massive spread about him in vintage guitar mag so maybe the masses are in fact finally taking note. i met bernie in the late 90′s in of all places houghton (butt fuck nowhere) michigan. bernie has since done a dub remix for both west indian girl remix records. his last one for indian ocean is a true classic. i love this guy – again, he’s one of the most talented musicians (if not the most) that i have ever met – he will be a friend for life. the song i picked is called mountain come down and it’s off of wash of light which came out in 2000. it’s a great peaceful groove. i need a mojito, a lawn chair, some palm trees and some hot sun right now.

    Hey man,
    .
I liked that Cruel Black Dove track. Nice one.
    .
OK, We’re on to C. Surprisingly the ol’ iPod is sorta thin on esoteric Cs. I’m chock full of stuff everyone knows (TONS of Chemical Brothers), so let’s dig around shall we?
    .
CORNERSHOP – “Lessons Learned From Rocky 1 to Rocky 3″. Yeah, that whole “Brimful of Asha” tune got overplayed, but sheesh this band has got some hooks. Enjoy the retro intro for the vid:

    .
THE CHAMELEONS – “Don’t Fall”. When I was 17 years old this song hit me like a ton of bricks. Hopefully you can navigate the page to listen to the tune. Couldn’t find a straight launch on YouTube anywhere.

Fran, since you once dropped a hint that you liked “Kind of Blue,” I’m taking a chance that you might enjoy hearing about a couple of Sixties-era jazz albums. One is semi-obscure and the other is totally obscure. If these albums aren’t to your liking, I’ll file away that Kenny G album I planned to spring on you ……………………..I’m kidding. Honest. Put that down!

“Crescent” is the 1964 album by The John Coltrane Quartet that immediately preceded their landmark “A Love Supreme.” “Crescent” is notable primarily for the first two numbers, the title track and Wise One, both beautiful low key compositions played in the style of L.A. cool jazz from the 1950′s, with Coltrane soloing strongly on tenor sax but not venturing too far into the pyrotechnics for which he was famous. The remaining three tracks are largely negligible (a quick blues tune, a long piece with boring piano and double bass workouts, and a drum solo feature). Focus on Crescent and Wise One (listen for the bossa nova stylings on the latter) and enjoy John Coltrane, McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, and Jimmy Garrison at their best. See if you can hear this aspect of TJCQ that I find fascinating: the rhythm section is frequently Garrison’s double bass and Tyner’s piano, while Jones’ drumming is very melodic in the dramatic dynamics of his cymbal and drum work.

“Deep Dark Blue Centre” is a British 1967 release from The Graham Collier Septet that, to the best of my knowledge, marks the first major album appearance by drummer John Marshall and reeds man Karl Jenkins, both of whom later went on to Nucleus and then to Soft Machine (Marshall also played on a couple of early Jack Bruce albums). Collier is the double bass player and primary composer, and the rest of the Septet consists of drums, guitar, horns, and reeds. On several tracks the music has the feel of chamber jazz, especially when the trumpet, trombone, and reeds are playing without the rhythm section. The last two tracks feature some fast-paced sections reminiscent of the music of another jazz bassist/composer, Charles Mingus. Post-Soft Machine, John Marshall appeared on an album that will be one of my “E” selections in two weeks, and Karl Jenkins became a composer in the world of classical-lite (“Adiemus”). It is interesting to listen to these two musicians honing their chops on “Deep Dark Blue Centre.” You might feel like you are listening to fussy arrangements without a core (that was my first impression), but it could grow on you, as it has with me. Where else will you hear jazz oboe?

my C is HOT! Well I think so. I just found them a few weeks ago — CARNEY. I think we’re about to hear a lot more from them, because the lead singer just got cast as Peter Parker in the new spiderman musical, music and lyrics by Bono and the edge. The band will be playing with him, which I love to hear because it tells me they’re breaking the rules and creating something new. I write musicals, so this might have special insignificance for me that won’t translate, I don’t know. It thrills me to see the U2 people diving into the musical pool. The potential for music mixed with story….. there are some really wild frontiers there no one has touched.

But as music — I love the emotion here, in the dynamics of sound as well as in the singer’s voice. It just takes me on a blinding ride. I’m gonna see them live in a couple weeks. Can’t wait! I expect to be mezmorized. You can hear in the singer’s voice that he spills out emotional truth like it’s air, holding nothing back. I love that!!!!

My fav songs here are LOVE ME CHASE ME and NEW ALL RIGHT, but honestly, I just love their vibe.

My “C” choice is Cut Copy from Australia. I love their pitch-perfect ’80s sound. Sometimes they sound like Avalon-era Roxy Music, other times like Electronic or the Thompson Twins. “Feel the Love” is my recommendation, also “Lights & Music.” Their Myspace page is here: http://www.myspace.com/cutcopy

John C beat me to Cut Copy – poppy yet a little dark. Their most accessbile song is Going Nowhere (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oml-yV2dqes), but my choice is Strangers in the Wind (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2sGdHomFFsk).

CSS: Brazilian dance/pop band. They can get a little cheesey, but good party music. And one of the odder videos out there – apparently a wedding fight, possibly with zombies. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cnOvMFnRvs

    Bonjour Fran,

Conjure One – Rhys Fulber’s stuff. That means plenty…though it doesn’t translate into too much FLA (Front Line Assembly) it does find a semi-happy medium between it and Delirium (hold your comments Fran). The music is not groundbreaking in what he’s already done but it is him and if you like his work then you’ll like him. It does have a good influence of Indian music.
Everything on his MySpace page is worth listening but find “Manic Star” which is outside of MySpace.
    http://www.myspace.com/conjureone

Citizen Cope – Yes yes yes….you don’t like singer-songwriters…so be it.

    Listen to Brother Lee

Prague drunk dials await you…DO NOT RECORD, haha, really. These are like a meteor shower….you can’t quite get it on camera but you were there to witness it in person.

I don’t know if you like Irish bands/music or not, Fran, but both my “C” recommendations are Irish.

    1) The Corrs: I’ve seen this insanely-talented, sibling Celtic folk rock group from Dundalk, Ireland several times in concert since I first discovered them back in ’98. I don’t know if you’re familiar with them or not, but the band consists of three very lovely sisters and their brother. In ’95, while still unsigned, they were invited by the then-US Ambassador to Ireland, Jean Kennedy Smith, to perform at a soccer world cup celebration in Boston. During this same visit to the U.S., they showed up unannounced at the Hit Factory music studio in NY where David Foster was working with Michael Jackson on his latest album. They came with a few traditional Irish instruments and performed an impromptu audition. David was, in his words, blown away by them and signed them the next day to Atlantic Records. He produced their debut CD, ‘Forgiven Not Forgotten’, which is one of my top two fav albums of theirs. They went on to achieve huge international success and have released quite a few albums.

The Corrs – “Forgiven Not Forgotten”
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfsPf7gIp7Q&fmt=18

    2) Cara Dillon: Admittingly, I don’t know much about Cara. But I found out about this 34 yr. old traditional Irish singer just a bit over a year ago and I loved her voice the second I heard it. Some performances from the fabulous 2008 ‘Cara Dillon: The Redcastle Sessions’ DVD (which I love) are uploaded to youtube. Here’s some interesting info about her I just found on Wikipedia:
“Throughout Dillon’s career she has ventured into many successful collaborations with a range of artists. In 1998, she was guest vocalist (credited as “Cara from Polar Star”) for Mike Oldfield on the single from his ‘Tubular Bells III’ album, “Man in the Rain”. In 2006, Judge Jules released his debut album, to which Cara provided vocals on the lead UK single “Ordinary Day”. The trance track was a big club hit and entered the UK dance charts at 3. Also on the dance scene, Dillon’s award winning version of “Black Is The Colour” was remixed by DJ Pete Devine (2Devine/Coco & Green) and became an instant hit on the dance floors in 2005. Over the next year, the popularity grew steadily and the track topped many polls and became a favourite of the top DJs on the scene.”

ok since CUT COPY was already mentioned, i’m gonna go with CAT POWER. i’m not a super fan but she does have 2 songs that i will never get sick of listening to…this one is actually a cover- i don’t know who sang the original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbMeAOTPJzM

this next one is with a hip hop duo named handsome boy modeling school. dont worry there’s no rapping. ha!

yeah, u said 2 songs max, but u know i don’t like playing by your rules so i’m giving you a bonus song. and it’s going to be “hip hop” here’s my favorite from COMMON http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WbfjjnX4KtE&feature=PlayList&p=82D8D8FB6D5E7293&index=19

I’ll have to agree, “cruel black dove” is a definite add… and good call also on “The Chameleons” Scott, forgot about them…
OK, “C”….. Tough one for me, lot’s of favorites but I am going with the following:

    1)“Computerclub”: http://www.myspace.com/iheartcc

I’m a big subscriber to spinner.com’s free mp3 of the day (In fact that’s where I discovered WIG years ago!) and came across these guys here. Simple, clean, straight forward highway driving. Haven’t committed to buying a whole album but do have a few of their tunes circulating in the library.

Now I might be taking a risk with this 2nd choice (you know it’s that sexy female singer-song writer stuff again) but maybe someone out there will like her (perhaps you Fran?). So I have always been a fan of Tricky (I know we’re not on T’s) but he released a great cover of the Cure’s Love Cats and I’m all “who is that singing?”… Well I forgot about that moment until I saw him at the Belly Up earlier this year and was once again reminded of it as I was so entranced with his vocalist. OK so here’s her solo stuff:

    2) Costanza … hypnotic, melodic, sexy, music to explore, enjoy and get lost in… my library rotation includes: “Burqua” and “I’ve Been Waiting For You” oh and “Looking for Protestation”….

BTW loving the format and kudos to you and WIG for your positive feedback in the Larry Weintraub blog. Unlike some artists who use the stage as a definite boundary we definitely appreciate the seemless space you create between you and your fans!

Liking what I’m hearing from CBD, thanks for turning us on to that. My suggestions for C are Codebreaker and Cruxshadows. Codebreaker is from Milwalkee and does electronic dance music. I’m not up on all the sub-genres that lies within that realm, but their album What Is This Earth Love? was kinda spacey with sci-fi themes and their latest one Exile is more disco. The video for What is this Earth Love? is at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JXPBhf3Av6E
    and their myspace is http://www.myspace.com/codebreaker
Cruxshadows are a goth/pop band from Florida. They seem to be well known in those circles and have played DraconCon a few times I think. http://www.myspace.com/cruxshadows
Another one I like is Collide. Female fronted, ethereal, mostly slower songs. I often play them as I drift off to sleep. http://www.myspace.com/collide I like the song Razor Sharp, as well as her cover of White Rabbit.

I liked that Cruel Black Dove’s song. I’ll have to listen to more of them. I agree the Big Pink could have picked a better name. For my C’s I’ve got another couple of Japanese bands- one shoegaze, one neoclassical metal (two of my favorite genres of music).
The shoegaze band is called Cruyff in the Bedroom, named after the trio’s favorite soccer player Johan Cruyff (I think his poster is in one of the band members bedroom). I know weird name. Here’s a link to their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/onlyfeedback
The song you should listen to is Plastique Bag, one of their older songs.

The other band is Concerto Moon which features one of Japan’s best guitar virtuosos Norifumi Shima. Their singer is going to be another one of those love it or hate its though. The song I picked from them is Lies and Betrayal from their 2008 album Rise From the Ashes. Here’s the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xs3njmal_QU
If you can’t stand the vocals skip to the guitar solo at 2:30. It’s worth listening to.

Oh and both songs are in English. I think!

Just listened to cruel black dove…adding songs now. Great suggestion everyone.

Hmmmm… Wow.. yes, lets stay from the obvious (I’m with Scott H, I have TONS of Chemical Bros) here (i.e. Cure, Clash…etc..)… Hey Fran, thanks for the info on Cry on Cue! WOW.. I’ve been hooked on that Dub remix of Indian Ocean! It’s nice to see who was behind that and his music so far is VERY impressive! I AM HOOKED! Thanks a bunch!

OK, this is tough but I’ve settled on the Cocteau Twins and Concrete Blonde!

I first heard the Cocteau Twins and was instantly in love with their music.. so haunting, slow, melodic and dark, it really fills all those mysterious and intrinsic hollows in your brain. Elizabeth Fraser is a Goddess of a singer. Vicorialand is one of my favorites albums but is a bit slow for sampling, so I’m going to go with Carolyn’s Fingers off the album Blue Bell Knoll. If you like Elizabeth Fraser, This Mortal Coil is also a sure bet, as is her singing on Massive Attacks Teardrop (Mezzanine) (i.e. House Theme).

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh83z5vIP0w

My first introduction to Concrete Blonde was a band buddy of mine that I worked with. He said nonchalantly, “do you wanna go see a famous band before they get famous?”. They happened to be playing at a local gig here on the East Coast of Florida in a small, beer soaked watering hole in the middle of nowhere. Johnette Napolitano has some amazing and very distinct vocals and blew me and the other 30 or so attendees away. This was second album tour (“Free) and about 2 months later God is a Bullet, and Joey became quite famous. I’m a little burned out on the more popular stuff but if you get a chance, there is a live version of Joey that will seriously give you chills! I’d like to choose a more obscure song they did called “Cold Part of Town” off of their self titled, debut album Concrete Blonde.

I was introduced to Crustation by this boy I was in love with back in high school. Slightly reminiscent of Portishead (another band I love) I started listening just cos this boy liked them, then actually REALLY got into them. I like all of the songs off their album Bloom, but have never been able to acquire a physical copy since my introduction to the band. I’m linking 2 songs- track 4 (Face the Waves) and track 3 (Close My Eyes). I think you’ll enjoy track 4 more bc it’s less “POP-y”. Now the copy that i have has some weird scratch sounds on them (track4) bc it’s not a clean copy so if you’re able to track down the undistorted version hook me up k? <3 M

Well, Jason D. beat me to my Concrete Blonde recommendation (nice job on Cocteau Twins also!). So I’ll go ahead and suggest a different song by this distinctively L.A. band. I had the pleasure years ago of seeing Concrete Blonde numerous times live, and getting to know them as well. In my opinion, Johnette has one of the best voices in rock music EVER, and the band would never disappoint seeing them live. Although they came out with consistently great music, their debut album will always hold a soft spot in my heart. So since Jason suggested the amazing “Cold Part Of Town”, I’ll recommend a slightly different sound for them off the same album, the crowd favorite “Still In Hollywood”, which is changed slightly from the album version and renamed “It’ll Chew You Up And Spit You Out”.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kgYYaIKKtMY&fmt=18

My next one is an obscure and VERY underrated UK band to come out of the early 80s called Colourbox. They were on the 4AD label which was mainly known for their gothic bands like Cocteau Twins and Dead Can Dance. The band was started by brothers Steve and Martyn Young, who achieved a small amount of success in a 1987 collaboration with AR Kane under the name of M/A/R/R/S, when they released the song “Pump Up The Volume”. They had some great beats and were big on experimentation. They also used a lot samples from old movies like in this track, “Looks Like We’re Shy One Horse / Shoot Out”. I couldn’t find a video, so you’ll have to settle for just the song. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iRGtzk5cBo Also, if you wanna check out a different side of them with their vocalist Lorita Grahame, check out the song “Arena II” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NaX2FWyAqnQ

My 13 year old daughter introduced me to Cobra Starship. I kinda dig them but this worries me. Their music is very pop and kinda campy. They do the song Hot Mess and it’s in my i-pod.
Deep down I still like The Cure, The Cult and Coldplay better though. :)

  21. 21

Is that a shot of Tom Morrello?

Love the Cult and Cure – Clash and Cat Stevens…

a couple of my obscure faves are Cymbals Eat Guitars, Crystal Stilts and Circle.

Don’t forget old skool Cars and Captain Beefheart.

  22. Harold #

Bill Cosby beat me to Captain Beefheart, but since he didn’t put a link I will. Fran, you might think you don’t like them but you would be wrong. Probably my favorite band ever.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HE32tcojArI

Also that 80s band from New Zealand called The Chills wrote some really good pop songs. Try not to look at how gay the video is, just listen to the song:
    http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2962871

If you want some obscure African psych-fuzz-rock from the 70s here is Chrissy Zebby Tembo & Ngozi Family – Oh Ye Ye:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdORKBV6Hz0

(Also I know we’re only supposed to put up 2 songs but since the last guy already mentioned Captain Beefheart I’m not counting that as one of my two. Just so you know.)

If you have time you should also listen to The Cows (noise/punk rock band from Minneapolis).

Loved both of the tracks for your “C” recommendations, Fran. And thank you for the info on Bernie Larsen. Impressive, indeed! It’s so fantastic that you got him for both of the WIG remix albums! The “Indian Ocean” remix is definitely one of my favs!

Wow, how did I miss this? I guess I need to check “The Fran” blog a bit more often! I absolutely love sharing music with friends , strangers & like minded people & vice versa! As of right now, I’ve got 7,762 songs on my iTunes & iPod so I have a few A-Z songs to choose from. So even though I’m more than fashionably late to this little musical soirée I’ll just jump right on in here with you guys at C. There’s a lot of great C bands in my library – CAKE, THE CALL, THE CEASARS, CSS (which someone already mentioned & love the track “Let’s Reggae All Night”), THE CHARLATANS, THE CHURCH, CONCRETE BLONDE, THE CULT, CRYSTAL METHOD, CHEM BROS (of course) and THE CLASH (without a doubt) so many great ones there – “The Magnificent Seven”, “Charlie Don’t Surf” comes to immediate mind but you know all those. You know, I always thought WIG could do a real kick-ass cover of “Charlie”, it would be awesome! Hey, how come you guys don’t do any more live covers? I used to love that when you guys would slip a little Stones, Clash or whatever else you guys cooked up while rehearsing, into your sets. Miss those little surprise gems! But I digress! Back to the task at hand! Now all the ones I have mentioned so far don’t count as my 2 suggestions, cause that would be breaking rule F10 of the “Francis Book of Laws” (just 2) and I don’t want to do that!!! Plus those bands are too well known & I was just thinking out loud! I’m trying to be creative & a bit more obscure with my 2 picks to hopefully turn you and everyone else onto something new, cause I believe that’s what this is all about – Discovery!

So for my first pick, check out Brandon Welchez & Chuck (Charles Rowell) Rowland of “Crocodiles” out of San Diego and formally of the post-punk band “The Plot to Blow Up the Eiffel Tower”. I caught these guys at the Troubadour and they really put on an electrifying show, very interactive with their audiences too. Listen to “Neon Jesus” for starters which is a bonus track featured on their 2009 “Summer Of Hate” album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfsKEdsmU7Y
Their sound is very reminiscent of “Jesus and the Mary Chain”, “Velvet Underground” & “Echo and the Bunnymen” which is no coincidence how they got their name, from an EATB album title. Check out the SOH album for a lot of great tracks.

My second pick is an indie pop, art rock band that formed back in 1995 out of Minnesota called “Cloud Cult. They’ve been compared to bands like “Polyphonic Spree”, “Flaming Lips”, “Rusted Root”, “Modest Mouse” & “Arcade Fire” while infusing a funky folk sound reminiscent to “Beck”. They gained national exposure last year when they were animated for an Esurance TV commercial performing their song “Lucky Today”. Always one to experiment with a potpourri of different sounds & instruments from toy pianos, xylophones, music boxes to glockenspiels that always seems to keep their sound fresh & inventive. Founding member Craig Minowa formed his own non- profit label “Earthology Records” which amazingly donates all its profits to environmental charities. (WOW!) They’re a band with a conscience & very green earth minded using only recycled materials for all their packaging and also tour exclusively in solar powered and bio-diesel vehicles. They’ve come to be known as an art-rock band, taking it one step further by actually featuring live artists painting on canvases during their shows. Now I feel that this is in no way a cheap gimmick but rather a great idea of blending two arts into one experience. I actually saw this done recently when I saw the “Krieger/Manzarek-Doors” show at Club Nokia last month. This artist would just vibe off the music and let each song flow through him & then onto the canvas. It was a really cool addition to the music! Anyway check out CC’s track ‘Happy Hippo” off their 2005 album “Advice from the Happy Hippopotamus” which includes a “Hey, Hey” nod to Neil Young at the end.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lB6BffjhyA8
Or check out “Training Wheels” off the same album, which kind of reminds me of something off WIG’s first album, similar to “Dream” or “Green”. I usually hate comparisons but the vibe of this song just takes me back to 2004/05 when I played that WIG CD to death. Plus Craig’s voice at times sounds eerily like Rob’s, or is it just me? Take a listen.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g5ZCxLmDYaQ
Might want to check out the rest of CC’s catalogue just to gain a broader overview of their work because it varies!

As per rule F10-2(a) which states that extra credit is at times permitted if warranted as a worthy addition that would also contribute to the process of initiating global peace through chill grooves. So here is my extra cred entry – CJ (Christian Jay) Bolland an English techno-trance producer/remixer from Antwerp, Belgium whose sound echoes the likes of “The Prodigy”, “Orbital” & “808 State”. The track I selected here is “Sugar is Sweeter” from his 1996 album “The Analogue Theatre” featuring the vocal talents of Jade 4U (aka Darling Nikkie). A great track with a trip vid. Check it out!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyO68rXJcJ4

Even though I missed weeks A&B, I would feel remiss if I didn’t go ahead and post those up anyway. So if you or anyone else has extra time and you’d like to go back and see my A&B choices, I’ve gone ahead and posted them in the week 1(A) and week 2(B) listings for all to consider. Peace!
(promise my future postings will be more concise)

Cruel Black Dove’s track and video was pretty cool, although it seemed a little repetitive after the half-way point, had some cool moments throughout though.

There are a few obvious groups I could mention in the “C” category, but I’m going to go with a more obscure artist instead.

    Claire Fitch – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXs-LPuxua8

She is a female cellist, who once played in the Ireland symphony, but now chooses to experiment with different fx, synths, and editing, to make a more experimental ambient pieces. I’m a sucker for women who love technology in music, as it’s still quite rare to find (another reason WIG is so cool). Her tracks are more relaxing and cinematic background type of stuff, than top 40 material, but it’s quite nice, IF you’re in that mood.

RE: BT – This Binary Universe… It would be super exciting if BT mixed a WIG track.

I didn’t mean to say that BT’s earlier work wasn’t good, but I think it was less mature. Like, it seemed more technically awesome, but in a show off kind of way, thus my alluding that it seemed more aimed at the cool/popular/party kids group. I think his more recent work, although still technically awesome, comes a bit more from the soul. Instead of just making cool grooves and killer editing, it’s more about expressing emotion and ideas from his heart. I purposely posed the YouTube song that had no video, but I think he knew TBU takes a long attention span, and is hard to listen to for someone not in the mood to kick back and spend some time with it. Because of that, he has added high tech video to all the songs, and added a DVD that’s included with the album. I bought the album/video for you, and you should be receiving it soon, I’m just curious to see if the video changes your perspective at all, or if it remains the same.
